Brazil win Confed Cup

FRANKFURT: Brazil added the Confederations Cup to its World Cup and South American titles with a 4-1 win over Argentina. Striker Adriano scored twice and Kaka and Ronaldinho got one each. Argentina’s lone reply came from Pablo Aimar with his team already 4-0 down. Earlier, Mich-ael Ballack’s extra time-free kick gave Germany a thrilling 4-3 victory over Mexico to capture third place. — AP
