Tri-Chandra defeated Patan Multiple Campus 25-17, 25-8 and Ram Nath Campus dispatched Jana Prasasan Campus 25-16, 25-17. Association, Banke is organising the Western Nepal Kattha Mills Men

and Women’s National Weightlifting Championships in Nepalgunj on

July 20-21. About 100 weightlifters from 22 districts will vie for the

championships. The tournament

Hossain on standby

DHAKA: Bangladesh on Monday named medium-pacer Nazmul Hossain as a cover for injured captain Mashrafe Mortaza for the remaining two-Test series against the West Indies. Hossain, who played his first and only Test in December 2004, would fly to the Caribbean on Monday, Bangladesh Cricket Board spokesman Rabeed Imam said. Mortazav fell over and injured his right knee while bowling on Saturday, the third day of the ongoing first Test at Kingstown, St Vincent. The fast bowler left the field and was taken
