In other matches, DSTC ‘A’ bounced back from the first-set loss to beat Saraswati Campur 20-22, 21-13, 16-14; Patan Campus ‘B’ defeated DSTC ‘B’ 21-15, 21-16; and New Rekha Sports Private Club edged past Gyanendra APF ‘A’ 21-18, 21-19. — HNS

KATHMANDU: The first general convention of Nepal Badminton Association today elected Prakash Bahadur Singh as its new president. Singh will nominate five vice-presidents, general secretary, secretary and treasurer from the 15 newly elected and two nominated members. — HNS
