Nepal take on PNG today:

KATHMANDU: Nepal will play their first match against Papua New Guinea on Monday at the World Cup Qualifying Series Division 2 Cricket Tournament at Kelab Aman in Kuala Lumpur. Also, Italy will face Kuwait, Cayman Islands takes on Fiji and Qatar clash with Zambia. Nepal is scheduled to play their second match against Kuwait on Tuesday. — HNS

U-14 league begins today:

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Bank Junior (Under-14) League Football Tournament is all set to start from Monday, under the auspices of All Nepal Football Association at ANFA Complex. Three Star Club will take on Manang Marsyangdi Club in the inaugural match. In all, there are 12 teams participating in the 20-day event. — HNS

KATHMANDU: Gyan Niketan defeated Little Angles’ by 52 runs and Greenland Academy beat KU High School by three wickets in the day’s matches of the second KB Khatri Memorial Inter-school Cricket Tournament. Gyan Niketan’s Pramod and Dandup Lama of GCA were named man of the match. Monday’s matches pit: United vs Gyan Niketan and Galaxy vs KUHS. — HNS
