Mouresmo seeks help:

PARIS: Former world No 1 Amelie Mauresmo is turning to 1983 French Open champion Yannick Noah for some help in gaining the mental edge needed to win a Grand Slam title. Mauresmo announced that she hopes Noah will help her overcome her big-match nerves. Mauresmo, briefly No 1 last year and now ranked fourth, will continue to work with coach Loic Courteau. A quarter-finalist or semi-finalist at each of the past nine majors she’s entered, she has reached only one Grand Slam final, losing to Martina Hingis at the 1999 Australian Open. — AP
