Volleyball selection

KATHMANDU: Nepal Volleyball Association selected 18 volleyball players for the 11th South Asian Games slated next year in Dhaka. Saroj Shrestha, Jhom Bahadur Thapa, Im Bahadur Magar, Bharat Bahadur Shah, Birendra Chaudhary, Sanjay Aryal, Dhruba Poudel, Ramananda Singh and Gyan Bahadur Malla were picked up from Nepal Police Club. Dinesh Chaudhary, Bhola KC, Dil Bahadur Karki and Raj Kumar Thapa were drafted in from Army Club while Kailash Dutta Bhatta, Sunil Kumar Shrestha, Khusi Lal Chaudhary and Dipendra Bhatta belong to APF. Roman Shrestha was selected from Central Region — the only one outside the departmental teams. — HNS
