Golden Gate win

LALITPUR: Golden Gate Club defeated Nakhipot Youth Club 95-42 in the first South Siders Invitational Basketball Tournament on Monday. Golden Gate took a 24-4 lead in the first quarter and extended the lead by adding 22 points to that of 13 from Nakhipot in the second quarter. Golden Gate added 21 and 28 points in the last two quarters, while Nakhipot scored 12 and 13 points. Sushil Gurung of Golden Gate top scored with 28 points. The other three matches — Revolver vs KNK, NCC vs Reunited, Nakhipot vs KNK — of the day were postponed for Tuesday due to rain. — HNS
