KATHMANDU: Sano Gaucharan Youth Club (SGYC) rallied for a 2-1 win over Bouddha Football Club (BFC) in the seventh Sano Gaucharan Knockout Football Tournament. Sudey Lama and Pankaj Lama scored after Bikash Rai had given BFC the lead. Also, Gyan Bhairav blanked Tushal Club 3-0. — HNS

Nil David win

Kathmandu: Nil David registered a comprehensive 96-run victory over Vijay Memorial School to enter the final of the Twenty20 Open Knockout Cricket Tournament today. Nil David scored 157-8 before dismissing Vijay Memorial for 61 runs in 18.2 overs. Man of the match Shakti Gauchan scored 39 from 37 balls and also took two wickets for Nil David. Nil David will play East West in final on Saturday. — HNS

KATHMANDU: Universal College beat Bagmati College by seven wickets and KIST College overcame St Xavier’s by 14 runs in the National Campus Twenty20 Inter-college Cricket Tournament. Bagmati scored 130-7 and Universal chased the total losing seven wickets in 16.1 overs. In another match, KIST made 122-7 and restricted St Xavier’s for 108. — HNS

Pakistan 2-0 up

Hyderabad: Shahid Afridi (43 not out) and Mohammad Yousuf (38 not out) led Pakistan to a five-wicket victory over Zimbabwe in the second ODI today. Chasing 238-8, Pakistan were cruising at 129-1 before three wickets fell for just 10 runs. But Afridi and Yousuf guided their team to victory. — AP
