Gyawali departs

KATHMANDU: Former Ranipokhari Corner Team (RCT) player Ramesh Gyawali on Thursday left for England to sign with a community club, Bedford Town Youth Football Club. Apart from playing in the largest community club of Bedford, Gyawali will also get the chance to undergo coach training. The terms and conditions are under negotiations, said Gyawali, who was the national team member of the 2002 World Cup qualifiers. With RCT, he won Birthday Cup, Pasang Lhamu Cup and Khukuri Cup. — HNS
