Ramailo badminton

LALITPUR: Binod and Ranjit combined to beat Tej Bhujel and Ganesh Rai 21-18, 21-9 on the opening day of the fourth Ramailo Badminton Tournament organised by Nakhipot Badminton Circle on Wednesday. Other winners in the men’s doubles include Dambar Rai/Jit Rai, Suman/Bhuvan, Bimal Jha/Kumar Rai and Prakash Rai/Naresh Tamrakar. Winners in the veterans’ doubles were Gambhir/ Bharat, Birendra/Surya and Purna/ Himal. The tournament features events in men, women, ladies and veterans’ doubles. — HNS
