Razzaq, Afridi recalled

Karachi: Abdul Razzaq and Shahid Afridi were recalled on Saturday for Pakistan’s five-match one-day series against South Africa starting next month. Also back in the 17-man squad is fast bowler Shabbir Ahmed and opener Imran Nazir. Pakistan will play a Twenty20 against South Africa on February 2 before the one-day series starts at Centurion on February 4. The remaining matches will be played in Durban (Feb 7), Port Elizabeth (Feb 9), Cape Town (Feb 11) and Johannesburg (Feb 14). — AFP

Dinamo loan Derlei

MOSCOW: Dinamo Moscow is loaning Brazilian striker Derlei to Portuguese club Benfica for six months until the end of the season. Dinamo Moscow announced the move on its Web site without disclosing terms of the transfer. The 31-year-old was signed from FC Porto in 2005 and spent two seasons in the Russian league, scoring 21 goals in 47 matches for Dinamo. — AP
