LALITPUR: Bara defeated Kailali 5-2 and Banke edged past Jhapa 1-0 in the ANFA-Mayos Inter-school Girls’ Football Tournament at the Chyasal Technical Centre on Sunday. Rajani Lama scored a hat-trick while Dipa Lama and Durga Adhikari scored one each for Bara while Menaka Gurung and Laxmi Shrestha replied for Kailali. At ANFA Complex, Fulmaya struck twice as Dhankuta beat Makwanbur 2-0, Udaypur edged Kanchanpur 2-0 on goals from Dipa Rai and Pramila Chaudhary while Kumari Gurung scored in Panchthar’s 1-0 win over Sunsari. — HNS
