BANEPA: Dipen Shrestha scored a century as Baluwatar Cricket Club beat Bhomi Youth Club by 209 runs in the first Suvendra Memorial Open Cricket Tournament. Put into bat first, Baluwatar scored a mammoth 246 runs in their allotted 30 overs. Man of the match Dipen scored 116 runs in just 69 balls. Rikesh Shrestha also contributed 69 runs for Baluwatar. Bhomi Youth Club were all out for 37 runs in 13.3 overs. — HNS

KATHMANDU: Mahendra Ratna Campus beat Nepal Medical College 5-3 while Universal defeated CCRC 4-3 in tiebreaker during the first e-Planet Cup Inter-college Football Tournament. Karfew Rasaili of Universal and Sandeep Lama of Nepal Medical won the man of the match awards. — HNS
