KCM beat LACM

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu College of Management (KCM) registered a 75-run win over Little Angels’ College of Management (LACM) in the LACM Tri-series Cricket Tournament. KCM scored 167/7 off 25 overs with Saneej Shrestha contributing 38 runs and Sushan Devkota 30 runs. Subib KC and Bikash Luniya claimed two wickets each for LACM. In reply, LACM were bowled out for 92 runs. Sarthak Karki bagged four wickets while man of the match Saneej claimed three for KCM. — HNS

Ktm marathon

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Athletics Club is organising the first Open International Kathmandu Marathon on November 18. The race begins from Basantapur Durbar square en route to Bhaktapur Durbar square, Patan Durbar square and back to the starting point. The winner will get Rs 100,000 cheque along with an opportunity to participate in the Paris Marathon slated for April in France, the organisers said at a press meet today. The second and third placed runners will get Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000 respectively while Rs 25,000 is set aside for those who break the national record. — HNS
