MPC players feted

KATHMANDU: Nepal Police felicitated its players amid a function here on Sunday. Athlete Dhaniram Chaudhary and shooter Saraswoti Baniya were promoted to sub-inspectors while three athletes Bed Bahadur Bhattarai, Nirmala Bharati and Bishnu Kumari Kafle and footballer Raju Kutuwal were promoted to head constables. Cash prizes were also distributed to football players and officials along with nine players, who broke national records in the 35th National Athletics Championship and Radhika Shrestha Memorial Nation-wide Weightlifting Championships. — HNS
