Sambotta, TIA in final

KATHMANDU: Sambotta and TIA in boys’ section and Valley Public and Shrine Academy in girls’ section entered the finals of the Third Sakalaka Boom TIA Cup Basketball Tournament. In the boys’ semis, Sambotta beat SVI 56-29 riding on Tenzing Lobsel’s 26 points, while Asmin Shahi netted 19 points in TIA’s 56-43 win over Wilson. In girls’ semis, Shrine edged past TIA 13-12 and Valley Public beat Sambotta 28-8. — HNS
