LALITPUR:

Hosts Ideal Model won the mixed doubles gold in the Ideal Model Trophy Valleywide Inter-school Table Tennis Tournament. The duo of Rabina and Sonu defeated AIMS’s Samjhana and Sandip. Rojina Deshar defeated Renuka Khatri in the U-12 girls’ final, while Rabina Deshar and Nabita Shrestha entered the girls’ singles final. Sangita Dahal and Anu Raut made it to the U-14 girls’ final, while Rabina and Samjhana of AIMS and Bijeshwori’s Nabita and Nikki entered the girls’ doubles final. Prabhat Dawadi of Ganesh Memorial and Sujan Manandhar of New Summit entered the boys’ singles final. — HNS

All Nepal Football Association formed a 15-member Youth Football Development Committee under the presidentship of Yam Bahadur Ghale. Anil Rupakheti of Birgunj and Hatak Shumsher Rana of Kathmandu are the vice presidents.
