Bal Gopal released

KATHMANDU:

Three Star Club has released their midfielder Bal Gopal Maharjan, who announced his retirement from international football after the AFC President’s Cup held in Kathmandu in May. “He requested us to be released, and we agreed,” said Three Star president Lalit Krishna Shrestha. Bal Gopal, who is also the national referee, wants to pursue his career as a referee.
