TipTop, Riders record victories

TipTop-XI and Grand Academy Riders recorded wins in the TipTop Marwadi Premier League here at the TU Stadium today.
TipTop thrashed Shikhar Ply by nine wickets in Group A match, while Riders saw off Onemix-XI by seven wickets in Group B.
Put in to bat first, Shikhar Ply were bowled out for a paltry 54 runs in 14.3 overs before TipTop raced to 55-1 in 6.1 overs.
Bhoj Raj Bhatta (16) was the lone Shikhar Ply batsman to score in double figures. Man-of-the-match Sumit Sharma was pick of the TipTop bowlers taking 6-10, while Rahul Punja claimed two wickets.
In reply, TipTop reached the target riding on Amol Sharma's 21-ball 25 not out hitting three boundaries and Ashchal Chaudhary remained unbeaten on 14-ball 24 with the help of four boundaries.
In another match, Onemix were bowled out for 128 runs in 19.5 overs, while Riders reached 130-3 in 15 overs. Onemix posted the fighting total riding on Murari Thakur's 31-ball 39 that included three fours and a six, while Raunak Ninda scored 30 off 32 balls hitting four boundaries.
Gaurav Sethia picked up 4-22 for Riders, who won the match comfortably after man-of-the-match Ashish Agarwal scored a quick fire 41-ball 64 hitting 10 boundaries and a six. Sumit Kadmiya hit 33-ball 49 not out with the help of three each fours and sixes.
