KATHMANDU: The week-long training camp organised by international coach Naresh Rawal to mark the World Table Tennis Day concluded here on Sunday.

Around 100 participants took part in training and competition at the Stag Saroj's Table Tennis For All Club, informed the ITTF Level-II coach Rawal. The event was organised with The International Table Tennis Foundation's theme of 'Think Sustainably Act Now.'

Meanwhile, Ratul Gurung won U-16 boys'section gold medal with 2-1 victory over Vaibhav Jain, while Ojashwi Shrestha beat Nistha Amatya 2-1 in girls' category.

Likewise, Anmol Gurung and Nevidita Karna won gold medals in U-14 section, while Yathart Bajesaria and Odila Shakya bagged golds in U-12 category.

All Nepal Table Tennis Association President Chaturananda Rajvaidya, General Secretary Shanker Gautam, who is also General Secretary of South Asian Table Tennis Federation, and ANTTA Treasurer Tejan Singh handed over prizes to the winners. - HNS
