POKHARA: Rock-XI and Makwanpur Cricket Academy won their matches in the Sponsor U-16 Academy Cup on Monday.

Rock-XI defeated Syangja Cricket Academy ‘A’ by 136 runs, while Makwanpur defeated Kasthamandap Cricket Academy by 70 runs. Opting to bat first against Syagja, Rock-XI scored 184-9 in their allotted 20 overs before packing the opponents for a paltry 48 runs in 18.4 overs.

In another match, Makwanpur reached 165-9 and packed Kasthamandap for 95 runs in 19 overs.
