Team off to Dubai
KATHMANDU: A 15-member U-19 team of Great Himalaya Cricket Academy on Friday left for the United Arab Emirates to play Twenty20 bilateral cricket series with Emirates Cricket Training in Dubai.
The GHCA team will play four matches against the local side during in the six-day tour.
Aashutosh Ghiraiya is skipper of the team that also comprises of Soham Aryal, Parikshit Dhakal, Saugat Dangal, Ramesh Bahadur Khadka, Punit Kumar Yadav, Harsha Bikram Adhikari, Deepesh Poudel, Bipen Upadhaya, Anubhav Karki, Akuch Adhikari, Aaditya Mahata and Abhisesh Thapa Magar. Coach Sudeep Sharma and manager Tejendra Rajbhandari also accompanied the players to Dubai.
Meanwhile, National Sports Council Member Secretary Keshab Kumar Bista and national cricket team head coach Jagat Tamatta bade farewell to the team on Friday.
