KATHMANDU: Valley Public advanced to the semi-finals of basketball tournament under the Angels’ Heart Sports Meet on Tuesday.

In girls’ section, Valley Public recorded double wins. They defeated Bhadrakali 20-15 riding on eight points from Drishti Shrestha and returned to register a hard-fought 25-23 victory over hosts Angels’ Heart.

Sabina Subedi netted 10 points for Valley Public. In senior boys’ category, Odyssey defeated Fairyland 41-30 riding on Rakesh Shrestha’s 20 points.
