SAN JOSE: Second seed Fernando Verdasco of Spain qualified for the final of the ATP San Jose tournament after beating Uzbekistan's Denis Istomin here on Saturday.

Verdasco, 26, won 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 in one hour 43 minutes and will meet the winner of the other semi-final between American top seed Andy Roddick and his seventh-seeded compatriot Sam Querrey in Sunday's final.
