Victorious U-23 Nepal football team arriving tomorrow

KATHMANDU: The U-23 Nepal football team that won the gold medal in the 12th South Asian Games held in India will arrive in Kathmandu at 3pm on Wednesday.

According to the All Nepal Football Association, it has organised a victory rally in the Capital tomorrow.

The football governing body said that the rally will start from the Tribhuvan International Airport and pass through Gaushala, Ratopul, Gyaneshwor, Kamalpokhari, Putalisadak, Padmodaya Mode, Bhadrakali, Sundhara, New Road Gate, Bir Hospital, Keshar Mahal, Narayanhiti Museum South Gate, Sahidgate before converging into a function at the Dasharath Stadium, Tripureshwor.

Nepal defeated hosts India in the final to bag gold medal after 23 years on Monday.
