KATHMANDU: Nepal APF Club and Nepal Police Club registered straight-set victories in the opening day matches of the APF IG third National Open Volleyball Tournament here on Monday. The hosts defeated Western Region Volleyball Association 25-10, 25-19, 26-24, while another departmental side NPC beat Dhorpatan Sports Training Centre 25-11, 25-14, 25-9. A total of five teams are taking part in the round-robin tournament. Earlier, AIG Singha Bahadur Shrestha inaugurated the tournament.
