Weather not supporting Lifan bikers

Chinese Lifan Motorcycle Himalayan Expedition-2002 has been forced to change its schedule due to bad weather of the past three days”, said the manager of the expedition, Dharma Expedition from the expedition venue, Na, Dolakha.

According to the new schedule, Chinese Lifan bikers Sun Xue and Luo Hong Tao will stay there until the weather turns favourable, states a press release issued by the organisers here on Friday.

According to the organisers, the Lifan motorcyclists will stay two more days at Na and continue on through Tsho Rolpa and Tashiphuk to finally reach the Parchamo Peak.

The main objective of this campaign is to set a new world record by taking their motorcycles to 6,187-meter high Parchamo Peak, which comes in the Rolwaling Himalayan range. World famous Chinese motorcycle manufacturing company Lifan has organised this campaign in Nepal to promote adventure tourism, as well as its brand name.
