KATHMANDU: Himalayan International Model School, Sanskriti and Wilson registered victories in the 19th Wilson Hoops Inter-school Basketball Tournament here on Tuesday.

HIMS defeated Kantipur English School 58-30 in the boys’ section match in which Zxunen Wangchuk netted 19 points for the winners.

In girls’ section, Sanskriti beat Trungram International Academy 26-23 riding on nine points from Chelsea Sinnja.

Likewise, Supreme Rokka scored 16 points as hosts Wilson outplayed Green Lawns 18-7 in the junior boys’ category match.

A total of 43 schools are taking part in the tournament that features four categories — boys, girls, junior boys and staff.
