KATHMANDU: Both the teams of hosts Angels’ Heart HS School recorded wins in the first U-18 Angels’ Heart Basketball Tournament on Monday.

Angels’ Heart defeated White House College 53-35 in the boys’ category inaugural match.

Nikesh Magar top scored for Angels’ Heart with 22 points. In the girls’ category, Angels’ Heart saw off National College of Computer Studies 24-12 riding on Muna Maharjan’s 11 points.

A total of 21 teams —16 in boys and five in girls sections — are competing in the tournament organised by Angels’ Heart HS School.
