KATHMANDU: Birendranagar, Chaudandigadhi and Kathmandu registered victories in the Deputy Mayor Cup Inter-municipality Women’s National Football Tournament here at the Nepal APF Club grounds in Halchowk on Wednesday.

Keshari Pakhrin scored the solitary goal as Birendranagar defeated Hetauda 1-0.

Also, Chaudandigadhi thrashed Pokhara 7-0 riding on a hat-trick from Chumlumana Rai and a brace from Anushka Sherpa.

Saraswoti Chaudhary and Manika Rai netted one each for Chaudandigadhi.

In another match, Preeti Rai, Sushmita Tamang, Subhadra Khadka and Manisha Thapa Magar scored one goal each as Kathmandu recorded a 4-0 victory over Godavari Municipality.
