LALITPUR: Nepal Olympic Committee and Athlete Society Track and Field jointly organised the Speed Workshop For Sprinters and Coaches here on Saturday.

A total of 50 participants took part in the workshop that focused on three aspects — Speed Introduction, Speed Parameters and Tests; and Speed Training Procedure. Former Secretary General of Nepal Athletics Association Sunil Rajbanshi, Sports Research Expert Diwakar Lal Amatya, and former Chief Coach and Distance Running Expert Sushil Narshing Rana conducted the workshop.

According to NOC Member Nilendra Raj Shrestha, the workshop was an initiative to update new running techniques to sprinters and coaches.
