KATHMANDU: Ashok Khaling of Nepal APF Club and Raj Kumar Rasaili of Bhaktapur advanced to the final of the 12th South Asian Games selection wushu tournament here on Sunday.

Khaling defeated Biraj Tamang of Kavre, while Rasaili beat Chandra Sunwar of Ramechhap in 52kg sanshou category.

In men’s 56kg, Padam Balami of NPC thumped Juguram Chaudhary and Rajesh Chaudhary of Kailali beat Amar Sunar of APF to enter the final.

Likewise, Santosh Kumar Lama of Makwanpur and Mangal Prasad Tharu of APF advanced to the 60kg final. Lama defeated Keshav Thapa of APF and Tharu overpowered Padam Rai of TAC.

Also, Saroj Pun of Banke and Anish Shahi advanced to the 65kg final. The finals are slated for Monday.
