KATHMANDU: Xavier International and Times College advanced to the semi-finals of the Rosebud Basketball Tournament here on Monday.

In the boys’ section quarter-final matches played at the Rosebud School courts, Xavier International defeated BernHardt College 51-44 riding on 16 points from Ajung Rai, while Aakash Nakarmi netted 32 points alone as Times College beat Rato Bangala School 42-37.

Xavier International will face CCRC, while Times will play against New Summit in Tuesday’s semi-final matches. In girls’ section, NASA College will take on Trinity, while Xavier International will face New Summit in the semi-final encounters.
