KATHMANDU: Simant Gurung defeated Prawesh Panth to win the above-35 singles title of the third Yak & Yeti Tennis Tournament here on Saturday.

Dev Chhetri and Deep JB Rana claimed the doubles trophy beating Ashish Sigdyal and Amit Gurung. Manoj B Shah defeated Mahesh Shrestha in the above-45 singles final, while the pair of Mahesh Shrestha and Degendra Shrestha won the doubles title with victory over Surya Giri and Bibhu Kayastha.

Likewise, Bimal Gurung beat Sanjay Jha in the above-55 singles final, whereas Himal Shah and Bimal Gurung won doubles gold medal beating Ram Rana and Sagar KC.

Kamal Thapa won the above-65 singles title beating Manoj SJB Rana, while Manoj SJB Rana and Dhurba Ghale finished first in doubles beating Sahadev Dhungana and Basanta Pradhan.

The winners received trophies, certificates and medals along with tennis court memberships.
