115–year–old voter
NUWAKOT/DAMAULI: A centenarian from Kakani Village Council cast his vote in the local level elections held in the district on Sunday. Batuli Lamichhane cast his vote at Arunodaya Secondary School polling booth in Matra village with the help of his son, Netra Prasad Lamichhane, election official Ramsnehi Mandal said. In Dupcheshwor Village Council, 104–year– old Tulasi Kumari Khatri cast her vote at the Mahadev Secondary School polling centre. In Suryagadhi Village Council, 101–year–old Ananta Prasad Adhikari cast his vote at Bageshwori Secondary School polling centre.
In Damauli, three centenarians cast votes in Tanahun on Sunday — Chandranath Ghimire, 105, of Myagde Rural Municipality, Beltar cast his vote in Janaganapati Secondary School polling booth, while 104-year-old Rana Bahadur Poudel and Resham Lal Shrestha, 101, cast their ballots in Jaladevi Secondary School-based polling centre.
In Pokhara, 103-year-old Anurupa Banjara cast her vote in Bhawani Kalika Secondary School polling booth in Pokhara-Lekhnath Metropolitan City.
