DHANGADHI: A man died whereas another sustained injuries as a bus carrying wedding attendants hit the motorcycle they were riding on, in Manahera of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City in Kailali district on Sunday.

The bus (Ba 3 Kha 1633) heading towards Dhangadhi from Phulbari had hit the bike (Se 4 Pa 7137) moving towards the opposition direction.

Biker Dipendra Budha died in the accident whereas pillion rider Lokesh Thapa sustained critical injuries.

Thapa was rushed to the Dhangadhi-based Seti Zonal Hospital, but it referred the case to Kathmandu.

Meanwhile, police impounded the vehicle and arrested the driver for further investigation.
