KATHMANDU: Results of the School Leaving Certificate (SLC) chance examinations have been published on Wednesday.

The Office of Controller of Examinations said 67,033 students were successful to upgrade their grades.

Results of as many as 40 examinees were withheld due to various reasons, according to the Examination Controller Krishna Prasad Kaptri.

Total, 67,073 had taken the tests.

Those who had scored D and E in two subjects in the exams held in March-April this year had taken the supplementary exams at various 192 exam centres across the country last month.

Total 147,583 students had scored D and E in the examinations, but only 67,073 had used the opportunity provided to upgrade their score.
