HEUTAUDA, MAY 23

To help fight against the raging Covid-19 pandemic in the country, Back to Life, an international non- governmental organisation, has donated medical supplies worth NRs 17 million to the Bagmati Province government.

The Germany-based organization handed over the medical supplies to Bagmati government to support people that are managing the Covid-19 crisis in the province.

Program Director Dikendra Lal Dhakal handed over the consignment to Chief Minister Dormani Poudel at the office of Ministry of Social Development.

Various medical supplies including oxygen concentrators 18 units, high frequency mobile X-rays 2 units, pulse oxymeter 60 units, syringe pumps, onfusion pump 5/5 units, surgical masks 100,000 units, faceshields 2700 units, 1100 units of PPE, 30 units of monitor, 10 units of electrocardiogram were handed over to address the Covid-19 situation.

Minister for Social Development Saraswati Basnet and Secretary Yagya Raj Dhungel were also present at the hand-over ceremony.
