NEW DELHI: Indian authorities on Tuesday sent a bomb squad to the Mumbai international airport after it received a threat call on Monday mid-night.

An unknown person called the airport and spoke to an airport staffer, saying he heard five people talking about attack at Mumbai airport and hotel Taj with 16 explosive laden hired vehicles, said police. Security outside airport terminals has been beefed up by the police.
