Hunt for Al Qaeda on
PESHAWAR: A 2,000-strong tribal militia began a hunt on Sunday for Al Qaeda supporters believed hiding near the border. The tribal force headed off in two groups into South Waziristan, to track down suspected foreign militants and five local men accused of harbouring them, said Allah Dad Khan Wazir. The deployment comes ahead of a Tuesday deadline set by the government for members of the Yargul Khel tribe to hand over Al Qaeda suspects or face action. — AP
