Renowned Indian singer Krishnakumar Kunnath 'KK' is no more.
He passed away shortly after performing live in Kolkata on Tuesday, and reportedly breathed his last at Nazrul Mancha in Kolkata.
The reported reason of his death was heart attack.
The musician apparently complained of some discomfort soon after the hour-long music performance at Gurudas Mahavidyalaya on Nazrul Mancha. He was rushed to a private hospital near Diamond Harbour Road.
Condolences have been pouring in since the demise of the popular singer. Meanwhile, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media to express condolences.
Saddened by the untimely demise of noted singer Krishnakumar Kunnath popularly known as KK. His songs reflected a wide range of emotions as struck a chord with people of all age groups. We will always remember him through his songs. Condolences to his family and fans. Om Shanti.

The demised singer had crooned songs in many languages including Bengali, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Assamese, and primarily Hindi.
