COLOMBO: A truck crashed into a car near Colombo, killing nine people and injuring nine. The truck went out of control and crashed with the car on Saturday night in Weliweriya, policesaid. Nine of the car’s 17 passengers were killed and eight injured. One of the truck’s occupants was also hurt. — AP
