Panic over mock drill

Jammu, September 24:

The police carried out a mock terror attack in this summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir to test the efficiency of its men. But it seemed so real that it sparked panic. Jammu was plunged into uncertainty following the mock exercise in which it was made known that ‘terrorists’ had stormed the 150-year-old Raghunath temple and the railway station. Many people frantically telephoned their homes and newspaper offices. One television channel even reported the “terrorist attack”, adding to the confusion.
