Sonia expresses shock over

New Delhi, July 27:
Congress president Sonia Gandhi today expressed anguish at the clashes between protesting workers and police in Gurgaon and said those responsible for the violence would be held accountable.
“Let me reiterate my personal and our collective anguish and shock at recent confrontations between striking workers and the police in Gurgaon that led to tragic consequences,” Gandhi said at a meeting of her party MPs here.
“A judicial inquiry has been ordered and I am sure that those responsible will be held accountable,”she said.
A day after the opposition NDA staged a walkout in parliament, the coalition’s convenor George Fernandes visited the injured workers of Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd, in the Gurgaon Civil Hospital.
