Stone-throwing crowd chases Serb PM from Srebrenica commemoration

BELGRADE: Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic was chased out of a ceremony marking the 20th anniversary of the Srebrenica massacre on Saturday by a crowd throwing stones and bottles.

It was not clear whether Vucic had left the site altogether, but his delegation was seen running for their cars on a hill above the cemetery.

The bodies of the 136 recently identified victims of the 1995 Srebrenica massacre Srebrenica massacre would be transported to the memorial centre in Potocari where they will be buried today, coinciding with the anniversary of the massacre. Bosnian Serb forces had slaughtered 8,000 Muslim men and boys and buried them in mass graves in Europe's worst massacre since World War Two.
