Turkish car bomb attack kills 13 soldiers, wounds 48

NKARA: Thirteen soldiers were killed and 48 were wounded in a car bomb attack on a bus transporting off-duty personnel in the Turkish city of Kayseri on Saturday, the military said in a statement.

The wounded were transported to hospital for care, it said.

Civilians may have also been injured in the attack, it said.

More than 25 wounded in Turkish bus blast, death toll unclear

GAZIANTEP: More than 25 people were wounded when an explosion hit a bus in the central Turkish city of Kayseri on Saturday, local hospital sources said, although the death toll was still unclear.

Hospital sources earlier confirmed that there were dead and wounded from the blast, which hit a bus carrying off-duty soldiers and civilians near the campus of a university.
