Two killed in UP train blast

A bomb exploded today on a passenger train in northern India, killing one person and injuring at least 20, railway officials said. Medical teams have been rushed to the scene of the explosion, near Jaunpur in Uttar Pradesh. “Train passengers have been evacuated and the train is being searched by railway police,” said a railway official. RK Singh, top official for Indian Railways, said the blast had been caused by a bomb, but he gave no further details. He said one person had been killed and 22 injured. The train was traveling from Patna to New Delhi.
