Veteran actor Surekha Sikri is no more.
Sikri died following a cardiac arrest this morning in Mumbai, India. She was 75.
According to a Hindustan Times report, she had been ill for several months and had also suffered a brain stroke last year.
Popularly known for the role of Dadi Sa in Balika Vadhu, Sikri has also played for movies and television series such as Tamas, Mammo, Badhaai Ho, etc.
After her sad demise, many of her fans and well-wishers flooded social media with condolence messages and tributes.
Saddened by the demise of veteran actor Surekha Sikri.
Known for her graceful & versatile performances, she will be missed deeply. Heartfelt condolences to her family & fans.

Very Sad news !!! One of the greatest talent Surekha Sikari ji passed away leaving behind so many great performances in theatre and cinema!! She was a treat to watch on stage.can't forget some of those memories of her act in theatre.great craft and a graceful person!! RIP
