KATHMANDU: A pedestrian lost her life after being hit by a motorbike at Thimi in Madhyapur Thimi Municipality of Bhaktapur district on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Saraswoti Khadka (45) of Jiri, Dolakha district.

According to police, the motorbike (Ba 80 Pa 5008) hit Khadka at around 4:30 pm yesterday.

Khadka breathed her last during the course of treatment at the Madhyapur Hospital in Thimi.

Police said that they have impounded the motorbike and arrested its rider for investigation.
