KATHMANDU: Police arrested four persons from Kamal Binayak of Bhaktapur for allegedly selling petrol and cooking gas at rates higher than the market price.

Durga Bahadur Chand Sah (21) and Rakesh Kumar Yadav (26) from Lahan of Siraha, Ramat BK (30) from Doramba of Ramechhap and Krishna Tajale (80) from Kamal Binayak, Bhaktapur were arrested on Thursday.

Police said they were illegally selling petrol and cooking gas from a vehicle (Ba 13 Cha 4169) driven by BK.

The law enforcement official seized petrol, gas and plastic containers from them.

Further investigation is underway.
